An exclusive market hall with banquet spaces and apartments was established in 1908 according to the eclectic design of Alexis Van Mechelen. For almost 100 years it was a popular place to organize balls, exhibitions and fairs. After the fire in 2000, the complex was rebuilt and expanded - from 2007 on an area of 20,500 m2. there are about 40 stores.
