Sint-Pauluskerk, or the church of St. Paweł, in the past was part of the huge Dominican monastery complex. Inside the temple there are several dozen paintings of such masters as Rubens, Van Dyck or Jordaens and over 200 sculptures. Baroque altars are considered one of the most beautiful in the world, and organs from the seventeenth century are one of the ten most-valued historic manuals in Europe.
The church has a series of 15 large-format paintings of the Rosary Mysteries unique in the world. Their creators are, among others Rubens and Van Dyck. Attention is drawn to the extremely rich sculptural setting of the church, including oak stalls from 1658 - the work of Peeter Verbruggen I.
Sint-Pauluskerk, erected at the beginning of the 16th century in the late Gothic style, has a Renaissance facade and a baroque tower added after the fire in 1679. In 1734, an impressive Way of the Cross was built at the church, which consists of 60 life-size stone figures.
