The Vienna Music Society is a world-famous music center and serves as the headquarters of the most important Austrian orchestra - the Wiener Philharmoniker. The history of this place dates back to 1812, when the Society was founded by Joseph Sonnleithner.
The most interesting place is the Golden Hall, which is one of the largest concert halls in the world (holds over 2,000 people). This is where they take place, among others infamous New Year Concerts.
The visitors have the opportunity to visit the Music Society with a guide and learn about the functioning of this place at times when there are no concerts when the atmosphere of this place is completely different.
