The museum founded by Paul VI presents vehicles used by popes - from carriage and litter to cars introduced in the 20th century. The first internal combustion papamobile was the Itallia 20/30 car, which appeared in the Vatican in 1909. One of the most prestigious is the Mercedes-Benz Nürburg 460 model from 1930.
