Glasgow Necropolis

Victorian cementary where approximately 50,000 Glasgow residents are buried. More than 3,500 tombstones have survived to this day. Many of them are decorated with neoclassical and neo-Gothic carvings. The cemetery looks like a vast park with shady alleys. In addition to individual graves, there are also commemorations of soldiers who died in the Crimean War and the First and Second World Wars.
