Paradise Wildlife Park
Paradise Wildlife Park is a private zoo, which currently has about 500 animals. These are European and farm species as well as exotic ones, such as white lions, Bengal tigers, camels and sloths. You can go on a safari ride around the park. There are shows organized daily, during which carers talk about individual animals. There is also a large playground for children, a swimming pool and three restaurants with windows overlooking the animal runs.
The facility was founded in the sixties of the twentieth century and then functioned as Broxbourne Zoo. In 1986 it was bought by the Sampson family, rebuilt and changed its name to Paradise Wildlife Park. After the changes introduced, the runs of animals became more friendly and resemble the conditions in which they live in the wild.
