Bourbaki Panorama Lucerne

Panorama is one of the last nineteenth-century rotunda paintings in the world. Edouard Castre created a picture measuring 112 x 10 meters, which became a cultural monument. It depicts an army putting together weapons, refugees and soldiers. The author, experiencing the stigma of war up close, created a realistic work that appeals to the viewers' consciousness.
