Upper Lake

The lake is located at an altitude of 1739 meters above sea level and is the larger of the two lakes in the village of Arosa. The water reservoir is home to numerous water and cane birds, as well as most European swimming ducks. In the summer season it is open for rowing boats, in the winter months it becomes a venue for events such as horse racing in the snow.
