The Sigtuna Museum is dedicated to local history, ethnography and art from the Stone Age to the present day. The exhibitions are arranged chronologically and present the times of the first seal hunters in this area, the Viking era, and the development of the city and local crafts in the following centuries.
The collections include archaeological and ethnological collections. They mainly include exhibits from the 18th century to the present day, found during archaeological research conducted in Sigtuna. A separate exhibition presents a collection of paintings, sketches and drawings depicting Sigtuna.
