The Tycho Brahe Museum is located in the restored Sankt IBB Church in the middle of a small island. It is devoted to the life and achievements of the 16th century Danish astronomer after whom it was named. The exhibitions present facts from the life of the scientist and his discoveries. It is worth mentioning here that Brahe identified and named 777 stars.
In the vicinity of the museum is the reconstructed Stjernebor Observatory, where Tycho Brahe observed and studied stars and planets. There you can watch an 8-minute light and sound show, showing the universe.
During the visit, it is also worth visiting the reconstructed Renaissance garden where the astronomer grew herbs and other plants, which he later used in his alchemical work. After the tour, you can have a meal in the museum café.
