Rian Design Museum

The Falkenberg Museum promotes regional and innovative design, and organizes exhibitions of Swedish and foreign designers. You can see both examples of modern industrial design and traditional craftsmanship.

The museum was established in 1991, its seat is located in an old grain warehouse. Since 2010, it has focused primarily on promoting the work of artists from the Halland region. He also conducts educational activities for school children.

Interesting temporary exhibitions are organized here, visitors could already see, for example, a collection of knitted clothes, which showed both models from designers and sweaters, which were made by housewives in the 1940s.

There is a cafe in the Falkenberg museum, advertised as the only one in town with such a beautiful view of the river where salmon swim.
