The unusual geological form is probably the result of the rupture and displacement of the rock, which led to the formation of an 800-meter-long canyon, 56 m deep and only 7 m wide. The popular hiking trail leading to the top of Skuruhatt passes through what, according to legends, is the dwelling of trolls.
