Church of Santa Vera Cruz

The church was built in the second half. 16th century and is the seat of the penitential brotherhood of Santa Vera Cruz, the oldest brotherhood of Holy Week in Valladolid. Its distinctive feature is the main altar in the style of Churriguerism - rich in details and ornaments of the Spanish late Baroque style. The church has Lignum Crucis - relics of the Holy Cross.
