Local name: Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Angustias
The church was built in the first half XVII century and is the property and seat of the famous penitential brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows, one of the oldest brotherhoods of Holy Week in Valladolid. The symbol of the temple is the main altar with the image of the patron. This polychrome is considered the most outstanding work of the Spanish sculptor Juan de Juni.
