Tolerance Thematic Center

The museum covers the remains of San Jorge Castle, and its entrance is right on the market square in the center of Seville. In its heyday, the building was the headquarters of the Spanish Inquisition and religious enemies of the church institution were imprisoned here. The museum is dedicated to the role played by the Inquisition in the darkest Spanish period.
