The Real Alcázar de Sevilla royal palace is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is an impressive building with many rooms, terraces and balconies. Around the palace is an English-style park. While visiting the facility, you can see, among others a chapel, a ballroom, an auditorium, a room of Piotr Castile and a vantage point.
The first buildings belonging to the royal family were built as early as the 11th century. The current character was given to the building in the fourteenth century. In the following centuries the palace underwent extensions and modernizations adapting it to given times and needs. It is dominated by architectural Renaissance influences and the mudéjar style. At Real Alcázar de Sevilla, Christopher Columbus was received after the expedition to America and the decision was made to send Ferdinand Magellan on a journey around the world.
