Cerro del Hierro

The hill was declared a natural monument. There are iron-rich limestone rocks that have been mined since pre-Roman times. Walking and climbing routes have been marked out here, including a trail leading to an old mining village. You can meet here, among others black storks, owls and bee-eaters.
