The picturesque mountain landscape of Puente Nuevo de Ronda is typical of the area, but the viewpoint is distinguished by breathtaking gates and walls dating back to Islam and the Middle Ages. Nearby there is a waterfall and a restaurant. Puente Nuevo - New Bridge - was built in 1793. Combining new parts of the city with the Moorish old town, Puento Nuevo is Ronda's best-known landmark.
