Combarro Granaries

Hórreos de Combarro are historic granaries standing right on the seashore. They were erected on stone piles, which protected the goods stored in them against flooding. Vegetables, grain and other products were stored here, which were then transported by boats to other towns. Initially, elements made of, among others, made of straw and wood, granite began to be used with time.
