Plaza de la Marina

The square at the entrance to the port was built in the mid Of the nineteenth century, after the demolition of part of the defensive walls from the times of Muslim rule. You can find here tourist information center, and a huge fountain occupies a central place. A characteristic building is the Cenachero sculpture - a statue of a street fish seller, the symbol of Malaga.
