The Teatre-Museu Dalí in Figueres - the city of the artist's birth and death is an art museum whose headquarters were designed by Dali himself in a unique style. The museum's collection includes about 360 works of the Catalan surrealist, there is also the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation and the tomb of the master. The most characteristic architectural element of the building is the attic consisting of huge eggs (they symbolize the beginning of life). The facade is entirely covered with imitations of small loaves of bread.
