The pier is 275 m long and is an extension of the seaside promenade. It was built in the 1960s by the CAMPSA oil company and was originally used for unloading tankers. At the entrance to the pier is a statue of a monkey holding a bottle of anise. The pier offers a panoramic view of the city and the coast.
