Formed on a hill during the Moorish times, the castle is a former fortification. The ruins of the fortress can still be seen today. Next to it is a 17th-century sanctuary. The history of the castle is inseparably connected with the figures of Cabrita and Bass, who burned down during the defense of the fort.
