Monte de San Pedro Park is a vast urban park in the city of A Coruña, spanning a wide strip of coastline between Cape San Adrian and the Sisargas Islands to the west and the Prior and Prioriño capes to the northeast. There is a plant maze, playgrounds for children and a pond where you can often meet ducks.
During the modernization carried out in 2006-2007, an observatory with a hemispherical dome was built in the park, which houses a viewing point and a panoramic, glass elevator. In addition, there is a cafe combined with a restaurant and picnic areas.
The park was established on former military grounds. There are still remains of underground shelters and barracks. You can also see the military and batteries exhibited in a specially dedicated exhibition room.
