The chapel was built in 1831 to commemorate the cholera epidemic that haunted Trnava in the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries. The building is located in the former, non-existent cemetery of the victims of the epidemic. For years, the chapel was abandoned and devastated - now it has been renovated and handed over to the social association "Better Trnava".
