Gallery ÚĽUV

The ULUV Gallery was created to promote contemporary Slovak folk craftsmen. The exhibition located here shows folk artists of today's Slovakia, against the background of the history of folk handicrafts. At exhibitions you can see folk painting and sculpture, ceramics, wood and leather products, and clothing.

ULUV's mission is to promote Slovak handicrafts. It is very diverse, not only regionally, but also when it comes to the materials used. The Gallery has exhibits showing the development of folk crafts in different regions. There are folk sculptures and bas-reliefs, ceramic and glass products, small architecture objects, toys, hand-made lace. Against this background, contemporary handicrafts are presented, which are often a creative transformation of traditional forms.
