Central Slovak Museum - Matej House

Local name: Stredoslovenské múzeum - Matejov dom

In 1479, King Maciej Korwin ordered to build a house, which he gave to his beloved wife Beatrycze. Currently, the late-Gothic building, along with the adjacent Mining Tower, is the seat of the museum. You can see a permanent exhibition devoted to the history of Banská Bystrica.
