Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary
Local name: Kostol Nanebovzatia Panny Márie
The construction of the temple began in 1255, which is remembered by the round Romanesque tower preserved to this day. In the fourteenth century, the church was rebuilt in the Gothic style, and then - after two catastrophic fires - in the Baroque style. The most valuable preserved element of the interior is the Gothic altar carved in 1509 by Master Paweł from Levoča.
