Local name: Casa Memorială Ion Creangă
The museum is dedicated to the life and work of Ioa Creanga, a Romanian storyteller, writer and diarist who lived and worked in the 19th century. It is located in the writer's family home, where his descendants lived until the 1950s. It is a small building with a wooden structure, consisting of two rooms and a veranda.
The museum houses a permanent exhibition, which includes archival documents, letters, photocopies of manuscripts and postcards with autographs. Here you can see a collection of photos and 14 graphics by Eugen Taru, illustrating one of the main works of the writer "Childhood Memories". In the courtyard in front of the building, it is also worth paying attention to the bust depicting Creanga.
In the vicinity of the museum there is an amusement park "Ion Creanga", where you can see characters from fairy tales for children written by Ion Creanga.
