The County Museum of Natural Sciences "Prahova" consists of nine sections, two of which are located in the Palace of Culture in Ploiesti - the Museum of Man and the Aquarium. In the first one, you can see exhibitions devoted to various anthropological issues, human anatomy and genetics.
In the aquarium section there are 70 pools of various sizes, in which live more than 1,200 animals representing 60 species from all over the world. Among them are native and exotic fish, turtles and newts.
