The Koguta Ridge is a rocky ridge with the status of a nature reserve. It covers an area lying at an average height of 1,200 m above sea level, with the highest point of the ridge at an altitude of 1,450 m. Its name refers to the characteristic shape resembling a rooster's comb.
There are hiking trails and climbing sites in the reserve. You can also paraglide here and go skiing in winter. It is a popular destination for nature lovers. There are deer, wolves, foxes, roe deer, wild boar and lynx here. The numerous birds living here also include species of birds of prey rare in Europe - the mountain eagle and the lesser spotted eagle.
