Gardens of Queluz

Historic gardens surrounding the royal palace at Quelez. They were designed in the 18th century in the French style and to this day remain one of the best examples of baroque gardening art in Portugal. Among the greenery formed in accordance with the French assumptions in geometric rebates and shrubs trimmed into ornamental patterns, you can see fountains, rococo sculptures as well as ponds and channels whose edges are decorated with azulejos tiles.
