Traditional boats are the cultural heritage of many port cities and coastal communities. It is no different in the case of Lisbon, from where ships sailed to the most remote corners of the world. The Tagus Estuary to the Atlantic Ocean is a place where leaking cruises take place on traditional Nasz Tag boats.
In the past, boats overcame the Tagus estuary that cuts the capital of Portugal in two and served the city's inhabitants. However, at the end of the 1960s, along with the construction of new road bridges, these ships were withdrawn from service, which led to their abandonment.
However, the ships have been restored and are today a tourist attraction in Lisbon. They were registered in Marinha do Tejo - Living Museum of the Portuguese Navy. From the background of the boat you can see: the castle, Alfama district, Lisbon cathedral, Pantheon, Terreiro do Paço, Belém tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Museum of Electricity, the bridge on April 25 and Christ the King.
