The city beach on the Tagus River is currently one of the most popular meeting places for the city's inhabitants. They were built in the former quays for barges and cargo ships. After transpormation, grassy places to rest, with deckchairs and small tables, and a promenade on the shore were created. The descent to the water is very steep and concreted, and bathing is forbidden, but it is a great place to relax.
