Monument to the Overseas Combatants

The monument is located next to the fort and was created to commemorate soldiers killed during the colonial war (1961-1974). It was inaugurated on January 15, 1994 by Adriano Moreira and General Altino de Magalhães, then president of the Combatants League. It includes a lake with a monument in the middle.
