Amalia Rodrigues Garden

Local name: Jardim Amália Rodrigues

The Amalia Rodriguez Garden is located on top of a small hill whose slopes are overgrown by Edward VII Park. It is a small green area with an artificial lake and a viewing terrace.

The garden was founded in 1996. His patron is the famous fado singer Amalia Rodriguez. It is a place created for rest while doing business in the city center. The central point of the greenery is an irregularly shaped pond. Geometric, modern sculptures were placed in it. Around the lawn is limited by low trees and shrubs and flower beds. On the edge of the slope there is a terrace with tables and chairs. You can relax here while admiring the panorama of the area.
