Municipal Museum Dr. José Formosinho

The museum is located in a building adjacent to the church of Saint Anthony. The baroque temple forms one whole with it, which can be visited as part of the ticket. The museum has diverse collections from different eras. You can see, among others, prehistoric and ancient monuments from excavations carried out in the area, Navigation devices and weapons from the time of great geographical discoveries, a collection of Portuguese coins and colonies, and agricultural tools.
