Quinta das Cruzes Museum

One of the most famous museums in Madeira, located in the former palace "Quinta das Cruzes". Built right after the colonization of the island, the property consists of a house, outbuildings, a chapel and a garden. Within it you can see the ruins of a dozen or so buildings with Manueline windows, beautifully woven into the landscape. The palace has furniture, handicrafts and a collection of works of art from the 16th to the 19th century.
