Monte Palace Tropical Garden

The beginnings of the garden date back to the 18th century and the estate of British Consul Charles Murray located here. However, it has been changed and expanded many times over the past over 150 years. The current owner made sure that plants from all over the world were brought into the garden. There are currently almost 10,000 species of trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs, including the world's largest collection of sago trees.
