Botanical Garden of Madeira

One of Madeira's most beautiful parks located on the slopes of Monte. You can get to it using the gondola lift. It is also a great viewpoint on Funchal. Established at the end of the 19th century, the park has a wonderful collection of plants characteristic for Macronesia. There is also an arboretum here where you can admire the Himalayan trees and bushes and the tropical zone, as well as a garden of tropical plants. The collection is complemented by an aviary with exotic birds.
