Chapel located within the University of Santiago in Braga. It was erected in the mid-eighteenth century after a great earthquake that struck Portugal and is a vote of gratitude to the inhabitants for saving the city from destruction. The chapel has the shape of a tower with a rectangular cross-section, crowned with a baroque belfry. The facade has a powerful, richly decorated portal and a huge window, behind which is the image of the Mother of God.
