Museum of narrow-gauge railway with a 600 mm gauge is one of the biggest open-air museums of this kind in Europe. There are several dozen exhibits, among which one can admire 17 antique steam locomotives and many passenger cars, freight wagons and trolleys from the period beginning with 1899. At the museum there is also antique railway infrastructure - track ways, railroad points, junctions, gateman booths, waiting room for passengers, water crane, turntable.
The railway which was connecting Żnin, Biskupin, Rogowo, Gąsawa was started in 1894 and its main goal was to carry crops, but soon it also started to carry passengers. Only in 1911 it carried as many, as eighty thousands passengers, which proves its popularity. After the war it was replaced by traditional means of transport and eventually was closed in 1962.
Children coming to this museum can spend time at thematic playground. After the visit, one can travel the touristic route through Wenecja.
