The picturesque valley is 5.4 km long and is the smallest of the general valleys in the Tatra Mountains. Three tourist routes lead through it. In its center is the Great Glade, built on the site of a glacial lake. Mainly spruce and dwarf mountain pine grow here, but you can also find rare species, such as Kotuli monkshood or mountain turtle.
