Scientific and research facility in Wrocław. Is a branch of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the University of Wrocław. You can see the only in the country, a 15-meter skeleton of a blue whale, a huge round skull or the largest animal egg.
The museum collects zoological and botanical materials from field trips to various parts of the world. The collection includes over 2 million animal species and half a million plant specimens. The exhibition is divided into four sections: "animal world", "plant world", "vertebrate skeletal system" and "insects and man".
The animal exhibition includes specimens of extinct animals, e.g. bagged wolf, Carolingian parrot, botanical is the only one in Poland. It consists of nearly 500 species of plants. The section devoted to the skeletal system contains 66 skeletons and animal skulls.
The museum has the highest category in the ranking of scientific institutions.
