Arian Tower
Local name: Wieża Ariańska
Situated on a picturesque low hill, the Ariańska tower dominating the area is the most important monument of Wojciechow. Inside, guests present a Regional Museum presenting folk art collections as well as a smithery museum with collections of more than 1000 blacksmith works from around the world. Next to the museum collections in the building is also the Public Library with book collections and the Agrotourism Information Desk. After visiting the exhibitions for a moment of rest, invites Arian Café.
The name of the tower owes to the fact that for many years it was managed by Calvinists and Arians. In reality, however, it was a residential-defensive building typical of this historical period and the region. The building was surrounded by a defensive wall with bastions, whose remains have survived to this day.
The Arian Tower is a three-storey building of stone and bricks covered with a red, gable roof. The walls are varied with small windows showing its defense character. Construction of the facility started before 1527 at the request of Lublin governor Jan Pilecki, but the entire construction was not created immediately, but it was built in two stages, as evidenced by traces on the walls.
