The Museum of the Land of Wałecka is located in a neoclassical manor house built at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Inside you can admire the various exhibits concerning the history of the town and its surroundings, as well as the construction and break-up of the Pomeranian Shaft.
The museum also includes the Fortification Heritage Museum, the "Brickyard", which contains remnants of the former German fortifications of the Pomeranian fort, dating back to the 1930s. The facility organizes numerous outdoor events, lectures, festivals and combat reconstructions.
Exhibits presented in the museum show the history of the Wałecka region from prehistory to World War II. You can admire numerous museums, including documents showing the struggle for maintenance of Polish after the partitions, everyday objects, or collections of memorabilia after veterans of World War II. In addition, there are exhibitions of artisanal crafts and interesting exhibitions of temples.
