The church of Saint Anthony in Wałcz is a beautiful temple built in the neo-Gothic style. Inside the building you can admire the organs made by Paul Voelkner from Bydgoszcz and the wonderful image of St. Anthony of Padua, called the Korean, who is the patron of the church.
The temple was built on the shores of Lake Zamkowy and was built on a cross plan. The church has an extensive block, for which brick and lime mortar were used. A presbytery and sacristy were added from the east and a four-storey tower topped with a pyramid from the west.
The church was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century by the commune of Wałcz. Initially it was a Protestant temple. During World War II it was significantly damaged, and after the war it was transformed into a Roman Catholic church.
