Regional Museum "Old Farm"

Regional Museum "Old Farm" is a private ethnographical museum opened seasonally since 1998. It is located in the hut which is a recreation of a building from 1768. It consists of some preserved parts of the previous construction including ceiling joists and door frames. The recreated barn, which is also part of the museum, is adjoined to the hut.

The house is an example of the traditional architecture of the mountainous part of Cieszyn Silesia. It has small windows and characteristic log structure. The permanent exhibition dedicated to the old culture of Cieszyn Silesia, everyday life of its inhabitants and the local craftsmanship is presented inside and in the courtyard. What is more, the museum frequently organizes temporary thematic exhibitions.
