Museum of Ustroń

The museum is dedicated to the metallurgical and forging industry which operated here. The facility collected items related to the ethnography, local art, and spa treatment. Because of the rich equipment of the museum and interesting collection, it was added to the Trail of Technics Monuments of Silesia Voivodeship.

The location of the Museum of Ustroń isn't random. It was established in the monumental building of ironworks Klemens which operated from 1772 to 1897. The permanent exhibitions are divided into several departments. They consist of devices used in the ironworks and the forge, their wares (old irons, small sculptures, mortars, various containers, decorative fittings), old souvenirs related to the history of the spa in Ustroń, and also exhibits related to the agricultural and industrial activities run here in the past.
