Local name: Promenada nadmorska

The official opening of the promenade took place in 1875. The Iron Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, Currently the most famous person connected with the pedestrian street is Irena Kwiatkowska. It is commemorated by a bench set in the Spa Park. A pedestrian statue of Frederic Chopin, chiseled by Ludwika Nitschowa, author of the Warsaw Mermaid, was also located in the pedestrian zone.

Long on the 1100 m promenade, is led by the summit of the coastal dunes. Initially, it was a walkway valued by lovers of iodine-filled air and sea views. Its popularity has led to the creation of hotels and restaurants in the neighborhood. At the end of the promenade, in the neighborhood of Irena Kwiatkowska's bench, stands a concrete tower - formerly a military facility, now a lookout point.

The Promenade is a full of entertainment and shopping center attraction. There are souvenir shops, fine arts, beach equipment and game rooms, playgrounds and lunaparks. You can take advantage of numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. On the menu, next to fish, there is no shortage of Polish dishes and typical fast food dishes. The promenade is very successful throughout the year, also in the winter.
